…it undoubtedly poured. It was inevitable that my rainless streak would eventually come to an end, but I didn’t expect it to conclude with so much fury. It didn’t just rain on this mid-May wedding at Clement Park in Littleton, Colorado, the skies opened and for the entire day the rain never let up. And because that alone was not enough, the thermometer hung right around 40 degrees all day, leaving many fingers and dressed up toes very numb. The ceremony was lovely and spontaneous just like the free loving couple who were the center of it, and no amount of rain could ruin that. But unfortunately no number of umbrellas and fire pits could make the day pleasant enough to enjoy all of the lawn game festivities that had been planned. Boo
The reception was brought to an early end at the park, but a few diehards continued the celebration back at the hotel. Going from extreme cold to toasty and warm resulted in all of my lenses fogging with the exception of my fish-eye… which almost seemed fitting for the occasion… giving a little fun loving funk to the end of Jessika and Brad’s celebration.
Congratulations!!
